Before Use
Attaching the Lens (Supplied)

Loosen the mount ring.

Attach the zoom lens such that the pin
matches the hole of the mounting area.

Tighten the mount ring.

Connect the cable connector.

Attach the lens cable to the clamp.
Memo :

To attach or detach the zoom lens, set the
[POWER ON/OFF] switch on this unit to
“OFF”.

Tighten the
mount ring completely. If it is not fully
tightened, the lens may drop or the back focus
may be out of alignment.

Lens is supplied for GY-HM890U, GY-HM890E,
GY-HM890RE, GY-HM850U, GY-HM850E and
GY-HM850RE.
Adjusting the Grip Belt A C
Adjust the grip belt.

If the
grip is loose, the camera recorder may fall
off resulting in injuries or malfunction.
Attaching the Microphone (Supplied)
You can attach the supplied microphone to the
microphone holder.
The supplied microphone uses a phantom power
supply.

Turn the knob on the microphone holder
counterclockwise to loosen and open the
microphone holder.

Place the microphone in the microphone
holder.

Turn the knob on the microphone holder
clockwise to secure the microphone.

Connect the microphone cable to the
[INPUT1]
or [
INPUT2] terminal.

Pin the microphone cable to the clamp.

Perform the settings for the phantom mic
correctly.

Attaching the Viewfinder (Supplied)

Slide the viewfinder in the direction of the
arrow to attach it.

Turn the slide lock ring to secure the
position of the viewfinder.
