The screen may darken for 5 to 6 seconds when settings in the recording format menu are changed.
System
For configuring the resolution of the video recordings.
Setting Description
4K Records in “4K” quality.
HD Records in “HD” quality.
High-Speed Records in “High-Speed” quality.

“4K” video recordings can be played back in 4K quality on TV sets that support 4K resolution and in HD quality in the case of high-definition TVs.
Format
Displays the file format of the recording.
Display Description
AVCHD Records in the AVCHD file format.
QuickTime Records in the QuickTime file format (.mov).
Resolution
Displays the size of the recorded image. (Horizontal x vertical)
Display Description
1920×1080 Records in 1920×1080 quality.
3840×2160 Records in 3840×2160 quality.
Frame Rate
For configuring the frame rate for recording.
And for configuring whether to perform progressive recording.
To capture scenes of a video as still images, progressive recording is recommended.

When “System” is set to “4K”: [Settings: 30p, 25p, 24p]

When “System” is set to “HD”, videos with “Frame Rate” at 60p/60i and 50p/50i cannot be mixed on the same card.

Before inserting a new SD card, check if the “Frame Rate” has been set to the frame rate for shooting.

Bit Rate
For configuring the recording bit rate.

When “System” is set to “4K”, the setting is fixed at “70M”.

When “System” is set to “HD” and “Frame Rate” to “60p”/“50p”, the setting is fixed at “28M”.
