Still Picture
PAUSEDURING PLAYBACK
PressPAUSE.If there is vertical jitter, press CHA or •
on the VCR's front panel or remote to stabilize the picture.
FRAME-BY-FRAME
PLAYBACK
Advance the tape one frame by pressing PAUSE again.
• To control the direction of Frame-by-Frame playback,
press SHUI-I'LE PLUS _ or _ during still picture
mode.
RESUMENORMAL
PLAYBACK
PressPLAY during still picture mode.
Slow, Reverse, Reverse
Slow Or Fast-Motion Picture
DURING PLAYBACK
PressSHUTTLE PLUS _ or I_1.
• To increase the speed in the forward direction,
press I_1_1.
• To decrease the speed in the forward direction,
press 141_1.
• To play in reverse slow motion, and in reverse play
mode, continue to press _ after selecting all the
forward slow motion modes.
PressFF for forward fast motion, or REW for reverse fast
motion.
RESUMENORMAL
PLAYBACK
Press PLAY.
NOTES:
• Press and hold FF or REW for more than 2 seconds for short
fast-motion searches. When the button is released, normal
playback resumes.
• If noise bars appear during playback or slow motion, correct
using manual tracking. _ pg. 25).
