DAB (KD-X561DBT)
DAB Basic Operation
1 Press < > to display the HOME screen.
2 Turn the volume knob to select [DAB], then
press the knob.
3 Press <E>/<F> to search for an ensemble
automatically.
“Auto Seek” appears.
(or)
Press and hold <E>/<F> repeatedly to
search for an ensemble manually.
“Manual Seek” appears.
4 Press and hold <E>/<F> select a service
(either primary or secondary) to listen to.
✎ NOTE
• To store service, perform [Favorite].

Displays the received signal strength.

Displays the information of the current service:
Service name, Ensemble name, PTY Genre
Ñ Select a service
1 Press < > to display the LIST screen.
2 Turn the volume knob to select a service, then
press the knob.
Ñ Store a services
You can store up to 15 services
1 Select a service you wish to store in memory.
2 Press < > to display the function menu.
3 Turn the volume knob to select [Favorite], then
press the knob.
4 Turn the volume knob to select a preset
number, then press the knob.
✎ NOTE
• To exit, press <
>.
Ñ Select a stored service

2 Press <E>/<F> to select [ ].
3 Turn the volume knob to select a service, then
press the knob.

DAB function settings
1 Press < > to display the function menu.
2 Turn the volume knob to select the item to set
(see the table below), then press the knob to
make a selection.
3 Press < > to exit.
Scan Station Updates the DAB Service List.
Favorite Stores a service.
While listening to a service you want
to store, turn the volume knob to
select a preset number, then press
the knob.
Reset Select [Reset] and then select [Yes]
to set the DAB settings to the initial
default settings.
TI Switches to the traffic information
automatically when the traffic bulletin
starts.
