Basic Operations Turning on the Unit The method of turning on is different depending on the model. 1 Press the [FNC] button. hh The unit is turned on. Basic Operations Initial Settings ■■ OEM SETUP This function requires a commercial adaptor. Consult your JVC dealer for details. Initial setup ■■ DEMO Set the demonstration mode. Default is “ON”. 1 Touch [DEMO] and set ON or OFF. Perform this setup when you use this unit first time. 1 Set each item as follows. ■■ Language Select the language used for the control screen and setting items. Basic Operations Adjusting the volume To adjust the volume (0 to 40), Press [+] to increase, and press [–] to decrease. Holding [+] increases the volume continuously to level 15. Touch screen operations To perform operations on the screen, you need to touch, touch and hold, flick or swipe to select an item, display setting menu screen or to change the page, etc. • Sliding the finger towards left/right: Functions same as pressing [E] / [F].

SiriusXM® Content Alerts When a broadcast program related to the registered artist, song or team starts, a message appears to allow you to switch the current channel to the relevant channel. 1 When the broadcast of the registered content starts, an Alert screen appears. ■■ [Jump] Touch to display the Alert Content List screen. ■■ [Ignore] Touch to cancel the Content Alerts. 2 Select a content from the list.

SiriusXM® ÑÑParental Control NOTE Parental Control is a feature that provides the user with the ability to prevent unauthorized access to mature content and user selected channels. • Touch [All-Channels] to display all the channels. • To delete the parental lock channel setting, touch [Disable All] and then touch [YES] on the confirmation screen. 1 Touch [Parental Control] in the SiriusXM SETUP screen. 2 Touch [Mature], [User] or [OFF]. 4 ■■ [OFF] Deactivates the parental mature and user locks.

Bluetooth Control Bluetooth Control Using the Bluetooth function, various functions can be used: listening to the audio file, making/receiving a call. Information for using Bluetooth® devices Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio communication technology for mobile devices such as mobile phones, portable PCs, and other devices. Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and communicate with each other.
Bluetooth Control Register from the Bluetooth unit It is necessary to register the Bluetooth audio player or cell-phone to this unit before using the Bluetooth function. You can register up to 10 Bluetooth units. NOTE • Up to 10 Bluetooth units can be registered. If an attempt is made to register the 11th Bluetooth unit, the Bluetooth unit connected on the earliest date will be deleted to register the 11th one. • This unit is compatible with the Apple Easy Pairing function.
Bluetooth Control Step 3: Phonebook transfer 1 Select if you want to transfer your phonebook data. This message appears if the device supports PBAP. Bluetooth Setup 1 Press the [FNC] button. hh Popup menu appears. 2 Touch [ ]. hh HOME screen appears. 3 The phonebook data transmission starts. Some smartphones may request permission to access the data. The data transmission will start with your permission. Touch [ ]. hh SETUP Menu screen appears. 4 Touch [Bluetooth].
