Listening to the HD Radio™ broadcast
Storing stations in memory
You can preset six channels for each band.
Automatic presetting — SSM (Strong-station
Sequential Memory)

A confirmation message appears.
Local stations with the strongest signals are
searched and stored automatically.
To stop searching, press [4] or [¢].
• During SSM search, all stations including
conventional stations are searched and stored for the
selected band.
Changing HD Radio reception
mode
While receiving an HD Radio broadcast, you can change
the reception mode — digital or analog.
• This setting cannot take effect for the conventional
FM/AM stations.

Auto Switch between digital and analog
audio automatically.
• In the case when the radio station
forces the reception mode to digital,
the HOLD indicator flashes.
Digital Tuning to digital audio or analog audio
only.
• HOLD indicator lights.
Analog
• The setting automatically returns to <Auto> in the
following cases:
– When you tune in to another broadcast.
