Sicherheitshinweise für elektromechanische Zähler
1. Vorwort
Lesen Sie vor der Montage und der Inbetriebnahme diese Bedienungsanleitung auf-
merksam und vollständig durch. Beachten Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit und der
Betriebssicherheit alle Warnungen und Hinweise. Wenn das Gerät nicht nach dieser
Bedienungsanleitung benutzt wird, kann der vorgesehene Schutz
beeinträchtigt werden.
2. Sicherheits- und Warnhinweise
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand, bestimmungsge-
mäß, sicherheits- und gefahrenbewusst unter Beachtung dieser Bedienungsanlei-
tung.
Defekte oder beschädigte Geräte müssen unverzüglich vom Netz getrennt und
außer Betrieb genommen werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht geöffnet werden. Benutzen Sie den Reparaturservice des
Herstellers.
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an die vorgesehenen Stromnetze an.
Die Sicherheit des Systems in welches das Gerät integriert wird, ist in der Verantwor-
tung des Einrichters.
Trennen Sie für Installations- und Wartungsarbeiten sämtliche Stromkreise.
Verwenden Sie nur für Ihr Land zugelassene, für Ihre Temperatur- und Leistungsbe-
reich ausgelegte Kabel.
Installations- und Servicearbeiten dürfen nur von einer Fachkraft ausgeführt werden.
Geräte müssen zwingend mit einer externen Sicherung ≤1,6 A träge abgesichert
werden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese Beschreibung allgemein ist und nicht auf die spezi-
ellen Funktionen jedes Gerätes eingehen kann. Die Eigenschaften Ihres Gerätes
entnehmen Sie bitte der technischen Informationen bzw. dem Katalog.
Das auf dem Gerät verwendete Symbol soll darauf hinweisen, dass es Gefahren gibt,
auf die in dieser Anleitung hingewiesen wird.
2.1 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Diese Zähler erfassen Impulse oder Zeiten und bieten eine Vielzahl verschiedener Be-
triebsarten. Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
• Der Einsatzbereich dieses Geräts liegt in industriellen Prozessen und Steuerungen von
Fertigungsstraßen der Metall-, Holz-, Kunststoff-, Papier-, Glas- und Textilindustrie u.ä..
Überspannungen an den Schraubklemmen des Geräts müssen auf den Wert der Über-
spannungskategorie II begrenzt sein.
• Das Gerät darf nur im ordnungsgemäß eingebauten Zustand und entsprechend dem
Kapitel „Technische Daten“ betrieben werden.
• Das Gerät ist nicht geeignet für den explosionsgeschützten Bereich und den Einsatzberei-
chen, die in EN 61010 Teil 1 ausgeschlossen sind.
• Wird das Gerät zur Überwachung von Maschinen oder Ablaufprozessen eingesetzt, bei
denen infolge eines Ausfalls oder Fehlbedienung des Gerätes eine Beschädigung der
Maschine oder ein Unfall des Bedienungspersonals möglich ist, dann müssen Sie
entsprechende Sicherheitsvorkehrungen treffen.
• Das Gerät ist für die Verwendung in Innenräumen konzipiert. Bei Einhaltung der
technischen Daten kann das Gerät aber auch im Außenbereich verwendet werden.
Achten Sie hierbei aber auch auf einen angemessenen UV-Schutz.
2.2 Schalttafeleinbau
Montieren Sie das Gerät entfernt von Wärmequellen und vermeiden Sie direkten
Kontakt mit ätzenden Flüssigkeiten, heißem Dampf oder ähnlichen.
Es muss sichergestellt werden, dass umlaufend um das Gerät 10 mm Umlüftung
vorhanden ist (bei Hutschienenmontage ist rechts und links kein Abstand
erforderlich).
Das Gerät muss so eingebaut werden, dass die Anschlussklemmen von einem
Bediener unzugänglich und nicht berührbar sind.
Beachten Sie beim Einbau, dass nur die Frontseite als Bedienerberührbar einge-
stuft ist.
Montageanleitung für Schalttafeleinbau
1. Befestigungsrahmen vom Gerät abziehen.
2. Gerät von vorne in den Schalttafelausschnitt einsetzen und auf
korrekten Sitz der Frontrahmendichtung achten.
3. Befestigungsrahmen von hinten auf das Gehäuse aufschieben, bis die Federbügel unter
Spannung stehen und die Rastnasen oben und unten eingerastet sind.
Hinweis: Bei fachgerechtem Einbau kann frontseitig IP65 erreicht werden.
2.3 Elektrische Installation
• Trennen Sie vor Installations- oder Wartungs-arbeiten das Gerät von allen
Spannungsquellen und stellen Sie sicher, dass keine BERÜHR-GEFÄHRLI-
CHEN Spannungen mehr vorhanden sind.
• AC-Versorgte Geräte dürfen nur über einen Schalter oder Leistungsschalter
mit dem Niederspannungsnetz verbunden werden, welcher in der Nähe des
Gerätes installiert und als dessen Trennvorrichtung gekennzeichnet ist.
• Installations- oder Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nur von einer Fachkraft durchge-
führt werden und müssen nach den zutreffenden nationalen und internationa-
len Standards erfolgen.
• Es muss darauf geachtet werden, dass sämtliche Kleinspannungen welche in
das Gerät gehen oder aus dem Gerät kommen durch doppelte bzw. verstärkte
Isolation von gefährlichen, stromführenden Leitungen getrennt sind.
Das Gerät muss für den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb extern abgesichert werden -
mit einer Sicherung ≤1,6 A träge.
Die Schaltausgänge sind geräteintern nicht gesichert. Ohne entsprechende
Absicherung der Schaltausgänge kann es zu unerwünschter Wärmeentwicklung
oder sogar zum Brand kommen. Die Schaltausgänge sind vom Errichter der
Anlage extern abzusichern. Es muss auch im Fehlerfall sichergestellt werden,
dass die unter den technischen Daten angegebenen Daten unter keinen Um-
ständen überschritten werden.
• Bei der Installation muss darauf geachtet werden, dass die Versorgungsspannung und
Beschaltung der Ausgangskontakte von der gleichen Netzphase versorgt werden, damit
die max. zulässige Spannung nicht überschritten wird.
• Bei Zähler mit einer Spule ist auf geeignete Funkenlöschung zu achten.
• Leitungen und deren Isolierungen müssen dem vorgesehenen Temperatur- und Span-
nungsbereich entsprechen. Für die Beschaffenheit der Leitungen sind die zutreffenden
Standards des Landes und des Endgerätes einzuhalten. Die zulässigen Querschnitte für
die Schraubbefestigungen finden Sie in den technischen Daten.
• Überprüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme den korrekten und festen Sitz der Leitungen. Nicht
benutzte Schraubklemmen müssen bis zum Anschlag eingeschraubt werden damit sich
diese nicht lösen und verlieren.
• Das Gerät ist für die Überspannungskategorie II ausgelegt. Wenn nicht ausgeschlossen
werden kann, dass höhere transiente Überspannungen auftreten können, müssen zusätz-
liche Schutzmaßnahmen installiert werden, welche die Überspannungen auf die Werte der
CAT II begrenzen.
Hinweise zur Störsicherheit
Alle Anschlüsse sind gegen äußere Störeinflüsse geschützt. Der Einsatzort ist so zu wählen,
dass induktive oder kapazitive Störungen nicht auf das Gerät oder dessen Anschlussleitun-
gen einwirken können! Durch geeignete Kabelführung und Verdrahtung können Störein-
flüsse (z.B. von Schaltnetzteilen, Motoren, getaktete Reglern oder Schützen) vermindert
werden.
Erforderliche Maßnahmen:
• Für Signal- und Steuerleitungen nur geschirmtes Kabel verwenden. Kabelschirm beidseitig
auflegen. Litzenquerschnitt der Leitungen min. 0,14 mm

• Der Anschluss der Abschirmung an den Potentialausgleich muss so kurz wie möglich und
großflächig (niederimpedant) erfolgen.
• Verbinden Sie die Abschirmungen nur mit der Schalttafel, wenn diese auch geerdet ist.
• Das Gerät muss in möglichst großem Abstand von Leitungen eingebaut werden, die mit
Störungen belastet sind.
2.4 Reinigung und Wartung
Die Frontseite darf nur mit einem weichen, mit Wasser angefeuchteten Tuch gereinigt
werden. Eine Reinigung der eingebauten Rückseite ist nicht vorgesehen und obliegt der
Verantwortung des Servicepersonals oder Installateurs.
Bei einem normalen Betrieb ist dieses Gerät wartungsfrei. Sollte das Gerät wiedererwartend
nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, muss das Gerät an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten
geschickt werden. Ein eigenmächtiges öffnen und instand setzen ist nicht vorgesehen und
kann den ursprünglichen Schutz beeinträchtigen.

Indications de sécurité pour les
compteurs électromagnétiques
1. Avant-propos
Lisez ce mode d’emploi attentivement et entièrement avant le montage et la mise
en service. Pour votre sécurité et la sécurité de fonctionnement, respectez tous
les avertissements et indications. L’utilisation de l’appareil non conformément à ce
mode d’emploi peut altérer la protection prévue.
2. Indications de sécurité et avertissements
Utilisez l’appareil uniquement dans un état techniquement irréprochable, conformé-
ment aux dispositions, en tenant compte des risques et en respectant les consignes
de sécurité et ce mode d’emploi.
Les appareils défectueux ou endommagés doivent être débranchés et mis hors
service sans délai.
Ne pas ouvrir l’appareil. Utilisez le service de réparation du fabricant.
Branchez l’appareil uniquement aux réseaux électriques prévus.
L’installateur assume l’entière responsabilité de la sécurité du système, dans lequel
l’appareil est intégré.
Déconnectez tous les circuits électriques pour les travaux d’installation et de
maintenance.
Utilisez uniquement les câbles conçus pour votre domaine de température et de
puissance, agréés pour votre pays.
Seul un personnel qualifié est autorisé à réaliser les travaux d’installation et de
service.
Les appareils doivent impérativement être sécurisés avec un fusible externe
temporisé de ≤1,6 A.
Veuillez noter que cette description est générale et ne peut pas aborder les fonctions
spéciales de chaque appareil. Vous trouverez les caractéristiques de votre appareil
dans les informations techniques et/ou le catalogue.
Le symbole utilisé sur l’appareil doit indiquer qu’il existe des risques qui sont indiqués
dans ce mode d’emploi.
2.1 Utilisation conforme aux dispositions
• Ces compteurs saisissent les impulsions ou les heures et offrent un grand nombre de
modes de service différents. Toute utilisation au-delà est considérée comme non-conforme
aux dispositions.
• Le domaine d’utilisation de cet appareil se situe dans les processus industriels et les
commandes de chaîne de fabrication des industries du métal, du bois, du plastique, du
papier et du textile et d’autres industries similaires. Les surtensions sur les bornes à visser
de l’appareil doivent être limitées à la valeur de la catégorie de surtension II.
• Faire fonctionner l’appareil seulement incorporé de manière réglementaire et conformé-
ment au chapitre « Caractéristiques techniques ».
• L’appareil ne convient pas pour la zone protégée contre les explosions et les domaines
d’utilisation exclus dans la norme EN 61010 partie 1.
• Vous devez prendre des précautions correspondantes, si l’appareil est utilisé pour la
surveillance de machines ou de processus de déroulement, où l’endommagement d’une
machine ou un accident du personnel utilisateur est possible suite à une panne ou à une
fausse manœuvre de l’appareil.
• L’appareil est conçu pour l’utilisation à l’intérieur de locaux. Mais l’appareil peut aussi être
utilisé à l’extérieur dans le respect des caractéristiques techniques. Mais, dans ce cas,
veillez aussi à une protection UV appropriée.
2.2 Incorporation du panneau de commande
Montez l’appareil à l’écart de sources de chaleur et évitez le contact direct avec
des liquides corrosifs, de la vapeur chaude ou analogue.
Il faut assurer la présence d’une ventilation sur 10 mm tout autour de l’appareil
(à droite en cas de montage d’un rail DIN et aucune distance n’est nécessaire à
gauche).
L’appareil doit être incorporé de telle manière que l’utilisateur ne puisse pas
accéder aux bornes ni les toucher.
Notez lors de l’incorporation que seule la partie avant est classée comme
pouvant être touchée par l’utilisateur.
Mode de montage du panneau de commande
1. Retirer le cadre de fixation de l’appareil.
2. Insérer l’appareil par l’avant dans la découpe du panneau de commande et veiller au bon
positionnement du joint d’étanchéité frontal du cadre.
3. Pousser le cadre de fixation de l’arrière sur le boîtier jusqu‘à ce que les brides de ressort
soient sous tension et les ergots d’encliquetage soient encliquetés en haut et en bas.
Remarque : L’IP65 peut être atteint sur la partie frontale en cas d’incorporation conforme
aux règles de l‘art.
2.3 Installation électrique
• Avant tous travaux d’installation ou de maintenance, débranchez l’appareil
de toutes sources de tension et assurez-vous de l’absence complète de toute
TENSION DE CONTACT DANGEREUSE.
• Les appareils alimenté en courant alternatif (AC) ne doivent être reliés au
réseau basse tension que par un interrupteur ou un disjoncteur installé à
proximité de l’appareil et dont le dispositif de coupure est caractérisé.
• Seul un personnel qualifié est autorisé à effectuer les travaux d’installation
et de maintenance et ce, selon les normes nationales et internationales
pertinentes.
• Il faut veillez à ce que toutes les petites tensions entrant ou sortant de
l’appareil soient séparées de câbles conducteurs dangereux par une isolation
double et/ou renforcée
Pour fonctionner de manière réglementaire, l’appareil doit être sécurisé de
manière externe avec un fusible temporisé de ≤1,6 A.
Les sorties de commutation ne sont pas sécurisées à l’intérieur de l’appareil.
Sans protection correspondante des sorties de commutation, un développement
de chaleur indésirable ou même un incendie peut se produire. Les sorties de
commutation doivent être protégées à l’extérieur par l’installateur de l’installation.
Il faut assurer que, même en cas d’erreur, les données indiquées dans les
caractéristiques techniques ne seront dépassées en aucune circonstance.
• Lors de l’installation, veiller à ce que la tension d’alimentation et le circuit de protection des
contacts de sortie soient alimentés par la même phase de secteur, afin de ne pas dépasser
la tension maximale autorisée.
• Pour les compteurs pourvus d’une bobine, veiller à un pare-étincelles approprié.
• Les câbles et leurs isolations doivent correspondre au domaine de température et de
tension prévu. Concernant la structure des câbles, respecter les normes pertinentes
du pays et de l’appareil final. Vous trouverez les sections transversales autorisées des
fixations à vis dans les caractéristiques techniques.
• Avant la mise en service, vérifiez le positionnement correct et stable des câbles. Les
bornes à visser non utilisées doivent être vissées jusqu’à la butée pour éviter qu’elles ne se
détachent et ne se perdent.
• L’appareil est conçu pour la catégorie de surtension II. S‘il n’est pas possible d’exclure
l’apparition de surtensions transitoires supérieures, des mesures de protection supplémen-
taires doivent être installées qui limitent les surtensions aux valeurs de la catégorie II.
Indications sur la protection antiparasites
Tous les raccordements sont protégés contre les parasites extérieurs.
Le lieu d’intervention doit être choisi de telle manière à éviter tout parasitage inductif ou
capacitif sur l’appareil ou ses câbles de raccordement ! Un guide-câble et un câblage
appropriés peuvent réduire les parasitages (par ex. de parties de circuits combinatoires, de
moteurs, régulateurs multi-phases ou de protections).
Mesures nécessaires :
• Pour les câbles de signalisation et de commande, n’utiliser que des câbles blindés.
Appliquer le blindage des deux côtés du câble. Section transversale des torons des câbles
min. 0,14 mm

• Le raccordement du blindage à la liaison équipotentielle doit être aussi court que possible
et sur une grande surface (basse impédance).
• Connectez les protections uniquement avec le panneau de commande quand il est mis à
la terre.
• L’appareil doit être incorporé en gardant la plus grande distance possible de câbles
chargés de parasites.
2.4 Nettoyage et maintenance
La partie avant ne doit être nettoyée qu’avec un chiffon doux humidifié d’eau. Le nettoyage
de la partie arrière incorporée n’est pas prévu et sa responsabilité incombe au personnel du
service ou à l’installateur.
En cas de fonctionnement normal, l’appareil ne requiert aucune maintenance. Si, contre
toute attente, l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement, il doit être envoyé au fabricant ou
au fournisseur. L’ouverture ou la réparation arbitraire n’est pas prévue et peut altérer la
protection d’origine.

Safety instructions for electromechanical counters
1. Preface
Carefully read these operating instructions completely through before mounting and
commissioning. For your own safety and for operational reliability, comply with all
warnings and instructions. The provided protection can be impaired if the unit is not
used in accordance with these operating instructions.
2. Safety and warning instructions
Use the unit only when it is in a technically flawless condition, use as intended, be
safety and risk aware, and comply with these operating instructions.
Immediately disconnect all defective or damaged units from the mains power supply
and put them out of operation.
Never open the unit. Use the manufacturer‘s repair service.
Connect the unit only to the intended electric power supply lines.
The safety of the system into which the unit will be integrated is the responsibility of
the setup technician.
Disconnect all electric circuits for installation and maintenance work.
Only use cables that are designed for the temperature and power range and that are
approved for your country.
Only trained specialists are permitted to perform installation and service work.
Mandatory: the units must be fused with an external, ≤1.6 A slow blow fuse.
Please note that this description is general and cannot delve into the specific fun-
ctions of each unit. For the characteristics of your unit please refer to the technical
information or the catalog.

2.1 Intended purpose
• These counters detect pulses or times and provide a great number of different operating
modes. Any other usage beyond and above that is considered non-intended use.
• The application area of this unit is in industrial processes and controls of manufacturing
lines in the metal, wood, plastic, paper, glass and textile industries, among others. Voltage
surges on the screw terminals of the unit must be limited to the value of Surge category II.
• The unit must only be operated in the properly installed condition and operated in accor-
dance with the chapter „Technical Data“.
• The unit is not suitable for the explosion-proof areas and the areas of use excluded in EN
61010 Part 1.
• If the unit is used to monitor machinery or operating processes in which damage to the
machine or an accident involving the operating personnel due to a failure or incorrect ope-
ration of the unit is possible, you must take corresponding safety precautions.
• The unit is designed for use indoors. However, in compliance with the technical data the
unit can also be used outdoors. When doing so, ensure sufficient UV protection.
2.2 Panel mounting
Mount the unit far away from heat sources and prevent direct contact with corro-
sive fluids, hot vapors or similar.
It must be ensured that there is 10 mm of air circulation around the unit (for
mounting rails, no clearance is necessary on the right and left).
The unit must be installed so that the connection terminal cannot be accessed
and cannot be touched by an operator.
When installing, make sure that only the front panel is classified as exposed to
the user.
Mounting instruction for panel mounting
1. Pull mounting frame off of the unit.
2. Insert the unit into the panel cut-out from the front and ensure the front frame gasket is
seated correctly.
3. Push the mounting frame from the rear up onto the housing until the spring clip is tensi-
oned and the top and bottom catches latch into place.
Note: If the installation is done properly, IP65 will be reached.
2.3 Electric installation
• B efore any installation or maintenance work, disconnect the unit from all
voltage sources and make sure that there are no tensions that are
DANGEROUS TO TOUCH.
• AC supplied units must not be connected through a switch or circuit breaker
with the low-voltage network that is installed near the units and which is
marked as its separator.
• Only specialists are permitted to perform installation and maintenance work;
the work must be carried out in accordance with the applicable national and
international standards.
• It must be ensured that all extra-low voltages that are input into the unit or
which come out of the unit are separated from hazardous live wires by double
or reinforced insulation.
For proper operation, the unit must be externally fused with a ≤1.6 A slow-blow
fused. The switch outputs are not fused internally in the unit. Without a corres-
ponding fusing of the switch outputs, undesired heat development or even a fire
could result. The system setup technician must externally fuse the switch out-
puts. In case of a fault, it must be ensured that the data stated in the technical
data are never exceeded under any circumstances.
• During installation make sure that the power supply and the wiring of the output contacts are
supplied by the same mains phase so that the max. permissible voltage is not exceeded.
• Pay attention to suitable spark arresting for counters with a coil.
• Cables and their insulations must correspond to the intended temperature and voltage
range. Maintain the appropriate standards of the country and the terminal equipment for
the structure of the cables. Please refer to the technical data for the permissible cross-sec-
tions for the screwed attachments.
• Before commissioning, check for correct and firm seating of the cables. Screw terminals
which are not used must be screwed-in up to the limit so that they cannot get loose and
come off.
• The unit is designed for Surge category II. If it cannot be excluded that higher transient surges
could occur, additional protective measures must be installed that will limit the surges to the
values of CAT II.
Instructions on interference safety
All connections are protected against external interference effects. Select the place of
installation so that inductive or capacitive interferences do not have an effect on the unit or
its connection lines. Interference effects (e.g., switch-mode power supplies, motors, clocked
controllers or contactors) can be reduced through suitable cable routing and wiring.
Necessary measures:
• Use only shielded cable for signal and control lines. Apply cable shielding on both sides.

• Make the connection of shielding to the potential equalization as short as possible and
extensive (low impedance).
• Connect the shields to the panel only when it is grounded.
• Install the unit as far away as possible from cables that are loaded with interferences.
2.4 Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the front only with a soft water-dampened cloth. Cleaning of the installed rear is not
foreseen; it comes under the responsibility of the service personnel or the installer.
This unit is maintenance-free during normal operation. If, contrary to expectations, the unit
does not function properly, the unit must be sent to the manufacturer or the supplier.
Unauthorized opening and repair is not foreseen and can impair the original protection.

