Screw attachment:
(For wood windowsills.) Remove cloth cover,
foam and heating unit. (If unit is a Thermo-Kitty
Sill.) Mark window sill through the screw holes
in tray using a pencil, see Figure (d). Using a
1/16” drill bit, drill 1” down into windowsill.
Use a phillips head screwdriver to attach Kitty
Sill with the three (3) provided screws. Replace heating unit, (if unit is
a Thermo-Kitty Sill) foam, and cloth cover and your Kitty Sill is ready
for use. Rubber bumpers may be attached to the legs where they meet
the wall if more stability is needed.

Thank you for purchasing your K&H Pet Product’s KITTY SILL, THERMO-KITTY SILL or DELUXE KITTY SILL.
When used correctly, you KITTY SILL should provide years of hassle free warmth for your pet.
The THERMO-KITTY SILL is intended for indoor use. Its unique heating system is designed to become warm, not hot.
USE INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions carefully.

INSTALLING YOUR KITTY SILL:
Your new Kitty Sill can be attached to virtually any windowsill using
one of two provided attachment methods.
Hook and loop strips:
(For any windowsill.) Once desired adjustments
are made (STEP 1 above), remove tray from cloth
cover & foam and attach hook and loop strips to
the raised portion on the bottom of the Kitty Sill
tray directly under the two outside screw holes (see
Figure (c)). Gently set the tray down onto windowsill in the desired position.
Press down rmly above the hook and loop strips to ensure proper
adhesion to windowsill. For best results, wait 24 hours before using. (This
gives the hook and loop adhesive optimal time for proper adhesion. DO
NOT skip this wait time or the adhesion will not work properly.)

To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse cord, plug or appliance
in water or other liquid.
•
DO NOT operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. RETURN all
malfunctioning appliances to the factory for examination.

When using this product, make sure your pet has the option of sleeping on or OFF
the bed.
•
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR USE.
•
CORD MUST EXIT kitty sill out the back towards the wall to keep away from normal
travel of pet.
•
Pad must lie at inside the sill. DO NOT INSTALL BENT OR FOLDED.
•
A liner must separate the pet bed warmer from the stufng material.
•
DO NOT use appliance for other than its intended use.
•
ALWAYS unplug from outlet when not in use.
•
DO NOT PUNCTURE HEATER FOR ANY REASON.
•
For use with 110-120 volt AC ONLY.
•
Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
•

Important safeguards
Upon removing the Kitty Sill from box, note the back of the Kitty Sill.
The screw holes in the tray denote the back and should be installed
closest to the window. See gure (a).
Hold the tray onto desired mounting position
on the windowsill and determine positioning of
legs. Snap legs into position by positioning the
tray perpendicular to the oor with the screw
hole side up. Note in gure (b) the direction
legs should be placed. Push down. You should
hear a resounding snap when it is securely in
place. Conrm it will sit properly on window
sill by holding up to windowsill again. Be sure
the Kitty Sill is level. If the Kitty Sill is not level,
snap legs into another position. Once desired
adjustments are made, follow instructions below
for your desired method of attachment (screws
or hook and loop ).

After operating 1-2 hours, place your hands on your pet’s new
THERMO-KITTY SILL for 20-30 seconds, applying pressure. YOU
SHOULD BEGIN FEELING THE GENTLE WARMTH WICK THROUGH
THE PLUSH FOAM. Your THERMO-KITTY SILL is designed to provide
mild radiant warmth. IT DOES NOT GET HOT!

Remove cover for washing. Machine wash cold, air dry.

Our warranty is as follows: K&H Pet Products warrants to the original consumer, that this
product will be free of defects and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. The manufacturer’s liability hereunder is limited to replacement of the product. This
warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect,
tampering, or other causes not arising from defects in material and workmanship.
To exercise your warranty: If, during the warranty period, your product malfunctions,
return it to the place of purchase with your original purchase receipt. If this cannot be
done, return the product, postage prepaid, to K&H Pet Products, with a dated proof of pur-
chase or original date receipt. A return authorization number can be obtained by calling
[phone] and must accompany all returns to manufacturer. Please include a note
explaining the problem when returning the product.
