TOOLS NEEDED:
TO START:
NOTE: This kit was not designed to t
vehicles with a body lift.
2. Depress the locking tab and then disconnect the
Mass air sensor electrical connection.
3. Loosen the hose clamp which secures the stock
intake tube to the turbo inlet tube.
4. Disconnect the stock intake tube from the
turbo inlet tube and then lift the complete stock
intake assembly from the vehicle as shown.
NOTE: K&N recommends that customers do
not discard factory air intake.
5. Install the provided silicone hose (08617) onto
the turbo inlet tube and
secure with the provided hose clamp.
6. Remove the two air box mounting grommets
shown from the air box mounting plate.
7. Remove the three air box mounting plate bolts
shown.

1. Turn o the ignition and disconnect the negative
battery cable.
NOTE: Disconnecting the negative battery cable
erases pre-programmed electronic memories.
Write down all memory settings before
disconnecting the negative battery cable. Some
radios will require an anti-theft code to be
entered after the battery is reconnected. The
anti-theft code is typically supplied with your
owner’s manual. In the event your vehicles’
anti-theft code cannot be recovered, contact an
authorized dealership to obtain your vehicles
anti-theft code.
NOTE: FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND NOT USING THE PROVIDED HARDWARE
MAY DAMAGE THE INTAKE TUBE, THROTTLE BODY AND ENGINE.
