INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

5/16” Wrench
Flat blade screwdriver
4mm Allen wrench
10mm Wrench
7/16” Wrench
1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the
vehicle's negative battery cable.
3. Loosen the hose clamp at the intake mani-
fold. Release the clips from airbox top then
remove complete upper intake.
2. On 2002 models disconnect the restrictor
gauge electrical connection as shown.
9. Assemble the “L” bracket and saddle brack-
et as shown.
10. Install saddle bracket assembly onto heat
shield as shown. Do not tighten completely.
11. Remove the two bolts that retain the fuse
box mounting bracket as shown.
12. Vehicles that are not equipped with the
fuse box, use the two upper mounting clips
that were removed in step 7 and install onto
inner fender wall.
13. Install the silicone hump hose and hose
clamps onto the K&N intake tube as shown.

4. Remove the air temp sensor from the airbox.
5. Loosen and remove the 4 bolts that retain the
stock airbox.
7. Remove the two upper airbox mounting
clips.
6. Then remove the stock airbox base from vehi-
cle.
8. Apply the edge trim to the heat shield as
shown. Trim if needed.
NOTE: This kit was not designed
to fit vehicles with a body lift.
