Congratulations, you have purchased the nest air lter that money can buy. With proper care, this lter will last 1 million
miles or more. This lter can be used in a stock machine, with no modications required. If any engine modications have
been made tuning/jetting adjustments may be required. There are special installation instructions, so please follow the
procedures outlined below to ensure the K&N Filtercharger® seals properly.
INSTALLATION:
THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS SERVICED,
OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COULD RESULT.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove OE lter from air box. With the lter removed, clean all debris from sealing surfaces.
Note: The four screws securing the OE lter onto the air box will not be used with the K&N
®
Air Filter. Fig. 1.
2. Install K&N
®
air lter onto ange of air box lid. For proper installation, the lter can only be installed one
direction. Make sure that the base of the lter covers the OE screw holes that are not being used. Fig. 2.
3. Re-Install air box lid onto the air box base, and fasten screws.
