INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS

SERVICED, OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE

COULD RESULT.

1. Clean the top plate of the K&N Air Filter.

2. Remove the backing of the provided gasket.

3. Apply the gasket to the top plate of the K&N Air Filter.

Note: The gasket is not used to seal the air filter. It is a cushion for the air cleaner cover.

Congratulations, you have purchased the finest air filter that money can buy. With proper care, this filter will last 1 million miles or

more. This filter may be used in a stock machine, with no modifications required. However, if any modifications have been made,

tuning/jetting adjustments may be required. The following procedure MUST be followed to ensure a proper fit and seal of the K&N

Air Filter.
