This fi lter fi ts: SEE CATALOG FOR CURRENT APPLICATIONS
Congratulations, you have purchased the fi nest air fi lter that money can buy. With proper care, this
fi lter can last many seasons. This fi lter can be used in a stock machine, with no modifi cations
required. If any engine modifi cations have been made tuning/jetting adjustments may be required.
There are special installation instructions, so please follow the procedures outlined below to ensure
the K&N Air Filter seals properly.
INSTALLATION:
THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS SERVICED,
OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COULD RESULT.

1. Remove the stock air fi lter.
2. Carefully clean inside the air box where the air fi lter sits.
3. Install the provided Drycharger wrap onto the K&N Air Filter. (Fig. 1)
NOTE: For optimum protection the K&N Drycharger should be used.
4. Apply a thin layer of the provided K&N Sealing Grease on the inside of the fl ange. (Fig. 2)
5. Install the K&N Air Filter into the air box making sure it is completely seated.
6. Reinstall the air box lid by lining up the latch on the air box lid. (Fig. 3)
7. Fasten the two air box clips.
