Congratulations, you have purchased the fi nest air fi lter that money can buy. With proper care, this
fi lter can last many seasons. This fi lter can be used in a stock machine, with no modifi cations re-
quired. If any engine modifi cations have been made tuning/jetting adjustments may be required.
There are special installation instructions, so please follow the procedures outlined below to ensure
the K&N Air Filter seals properly.
Installation
THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED EVERY TIME THE FILTER IS
SERVICED, OTHERWISE THE FILTER MAY NOT SEAL, AND DAMAGE TO THE
ENGINE COULD RESULT.

1. Remove the stock air fi lter and air fi lter plate.
Note: The plate will not be used with the K&N Air Filter.
2. Install The K&N Air Filter into the air box base. (Fig 1)
3. Insert the provided foam gasket around the perimeter of the K&N Air Filter. (Fig. 2)
Note: The foam gasket MUST be used for proper fi t and seal.
4. Reinstall the air box lid and fasten air box clips.
