Safety instructions
 Never fully immerse the de-
vice in liquids.
 Only operate the device out-
doors.
 Regularly check the device for
damage. Do not operate the
device if you discover visible
damage.
 Do not reach into the blower
tube or the blower in the de-
vice.
 Never operate the device
without the blower tube in-
stalled.
 Do not cover the air intake
opening.
 Keep loose clothing away
from the air intake opening.
 Observe the safety instruc-
tions provided with the battery
pack.
 Read through the instructions
carefully. Familiarise yourself
with the controls and the cor-
rect use of the device.
 Never allow the device to be
used by persons who are un-
familiar with these instruc-
tions. The age of the operator
may be limited by local regula-
tions.
 Always wear sturdy footwear
and long trousers when oper-
ating the device.
 Do not wear loose clothes or
jewellery which can be suc-
tioned into the air inlet. Keep
long hair away from the air in-
lets.
 Wear suitable safety goggles
during operation.
 Only operate the device in
daylight or under good artifi-
cial lighting.
 Do not overextend yourself
and keep your balance at all
times.
 Always ensure that you have
good footing on slopes.
 Walk with the device, do not
run.
 Keep all cooling inlets free of
dirt.
 Never blow dirt in the direction
of nearby persons.
 Tighten all nuts, bolts and
screws to ensure that the de-
vice is in a safe operating
state.
 Replace worn or damaged
parts.
 Only use original spare parts
and accessories.
