EN Connecting the drain hose • Connect the drain hose 1 to the drain pipe 2 (diameter: 40 mm min.), or let it run directly into the sink 3. EN WASHING HINTS Loading the laundry White items should not be washed with coloured items. It is essential to wash new coloured items separately when washing for the first time. Before washing, empty all pockets of small objects which may have been left inside (coins, keys, screws etc.), as these could damage the drain pump. Some stains are difficult to remove and should be treated before washing with a special presoak product or biological detergent. When washing curtains, remove the hooks.

EN HOW TO REMOVE STAMPS Some stains cannot be removed by just washing in a washing machine. Try to treat this before washing with special detergents. Wax stamps: scrape the wax using a blunt point in order not to damage the fabric. Then with the fabric placed between two pieces of absorbent paper, run a hot iron over the stain. Lipstick: stains on cotton or wool can be eliminated using a cloth soaked in ether. Stains on silk require the use of trichloroethylene.

Despite of the biodegradability the detergents contain substances which in big amount can break fragile balance in the nature. The choice of a detergent depends on type of a fabric (thin delicate fabrics, wool, cotton, etc.), colour, temperature of washing and a degree of pollution.

EN CARE AND MAINTENANCE Keep your washing machine in shape After every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly ajar so that moisture and odours do not remain trapped inside. Before cleaning or performing maintenance, always remove the plug from the outlet. Do not run risks. When you go on holiday, it is advisable to run a wash cycle with the washing machine being empty.
