Wrap thread sealant tape around the threads of the valve body as-
sembly.
Slip the escutcheon over the threaded end of the valve body assem-
bly. Thread the valve body assembly into the water supply.
Tighten with a clean strap wrench, making sure the water outlet on the
body assembly is facing straight up.
Remove the shroud from the water outlet and set aside.
Determine the length of the supply tube by measuring from the top of
the water outlet to the bottom of the toilet valve, and add 3/4”. Care-
fully cut the supply tube to the required length, being careful not to
compress the tube. Remove any burrs from the cut end.
Remove the nut from the toilet valve and slide it onto the supply tube.
Slide the shroud onto the supply tube.
Loosen the nut on the valve body assembly outlet and insert the plain
end of the supply tube. Tighten the nut with a wrench.
Align the top of the supply tube with the bottom of the toilet valve (the supply tube can be bent slightly), and
thread the toilet valve nut onto the toilet valve.
Turn on the main water supply. Turn the valve handle to the left. Check for leaks and repair as necessary.
Slide the shroud over the valve body assembly outlet.
Slide the escutcheon so that it meets the wall. Apply a bead of silicone sealant or caulk if desired.
