PARTS FUNCTION
Steam release ring:
Should be set to the Seal/Close position
before using the unit, in order for the cooker to
build pressure.
Set to the Release/Open position to release
the pressure manually or to cook without
pressure.
Removable cooking
pot:
6L/6.3qt capacity non-stick coated
removable pot, provides even heat
distribution.
Rubber Gasket:
Creates an air-tight seal that is needed for the
pressure cooker.
Control panel functions:
Browning function:
Use the browning function to brown meats or
caramelize vegetables. Searing or browning
ingredients keeps them moist, tender and
flavorful.
Always ensure the lid is removed from the
appliance before using the browning function.
Slow cook function:
Use the slow cook function to Cook your food
slowly, to retain flavor and tenderness (12-hour
timer).
Note: This function will cook food at180F/190F, which is the lowest
setting on a traditional slow cooker; most recipes using a slow cooker
require 8-9 hours cooking time.
Rice, beans, meat,
chicken, fish
Use the preset menus to easily prepare rice,
beans, meat, chicken or fish.
Delay Time feature:
Allows you to begin cooking food up to 24
hours later.
