Do not place or store hair clipper where it can fall or be pulled into bath tub or sink. If hair clipper falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
Do not use the hair clipper with a damaged or broken comb nor with teeth missing from the blades, to avoid injury. the extension cord or power board should be positioned so that is not subject to splashing or contact with moisture. Use this hair clipper only as described in this instruction book.The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a hazard.
Before using the hair clipper, make sure the blades are clean and well oiled. Unwind the cord to its full length, ensure that the on/off switch is off ‘O’ and plug the cord into a 230 /240V power outlet, then turn the power on. Gently lift the tab at the other end of the attachment comb and push down until a click is heard. Operate the hair clipper with the ON/OFF switch. NOTE: For uniform cutting, never push or force the hair clipper through the hair at a fast speed.

If you desire shorter hair, either change to a lower number attachment comb or apply more pressure and less lift away from head with the present attachment comb. 1. Place a towel around the neck of the person to prevent hair from falling down inside the collar. 2. Position the person in a chair so that his/her head is at your eye level. 5. For the top of the head, you will give a fairly short cut if you use the #4 attachment comb.
