Kompatibilität • Die Funktion hängt von der Bluetooth®-Technologie Ihres externen Gerätes ab. Auspacken • Nehmen Sie Ihr Gerät vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Sie sollten die Verpackung zur weiteren Verwendung aufheben. • Entfernen Sie vorsichtig etwaige Schutzkartons und Schutzfolien. Wenn der Ladevorgang beendet ist, leuchtet die Akkuladestandanzeige grün. Um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten, stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf „ON”. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach Verwendung wieder aus, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf „OFF“ stellen.
• Die LED-Statusanzeige leuchtet dauerhaft, um anzuzeigen, dass der Lautsprecher eingeschaltet ist. Um das Koppeln mit anderen Bluetooth®-Geräten zu ermöglichen, halten Sie die CONNECT-Taste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. • • Stellen Sie anhand der Tasten Lautstärke +/- die gewünschte Lautstärke ein. Es ist ein Piepton zu hören, wenn die maximal, bzw. minimal einstellbare Lautstärke erreicht ist. Zusätzlich können Sie die Lautstärke und den Equalizer an Ihrem externen Gerät einstellen, um den bestmöglichen Sound zu erhalten.
Standardeinstellungen wiederherstellen Sie können die Standardeinstellungen des BT 4160 wiederherstellen und dessen Speicher mit gekoppelten Geräten löschen, indem Sie folgendermaßen vorgehen: 1. Halten Sie die CONNECT-Taste 8 Sekunden lang gedrückt, während der Lautsprecher eingeschaltet ist. 2. Ein langer Piepton ertönt. Die LED-Statusanzeige blinkt schnell. 3. Der Speicher ist nun gelöscht und der Lautsprecher im Kopplungsmodus. Es können nun wieder Bluetooth®-Geräte gekoppelt werden.
Fehlerbehebung Sollte an diesem Gerät einmal wider Erwarten ein Fehler auftreten, so versuchen Sie zunächst, diesen anhand der folgenden Tipps selbst zu beheben: • BT 4160 lässt sich nicht einschalten Versichern Sie sich, dass der integrierte Akku ausreichend aufgeladen ist. Versichern Sie sich, dass der Ein-/Ausschalter auf „ON“ steht. Wenn der Lautsprecher eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet die LED-Statusanzeige.
Batterien und Akkus Batterien und Akkus dürfen nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet, alte Batterien und Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde, seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben, so dass sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. To switch the speaker on, set the Power ON/OFF switch to “ON”. Always switch the unit off after use by switching the Power ON/OFF switch to “OFF”. Playback time of the batterys is about 4 hours (depending on the volume and audio source). Note: The USB port on this speaker is only for charging.

Pair and connect to BT 4160. If prompted for a password, enter “0000”. Pairing successful and ready to stream music.
• • Press the Volume +/- buttons to adjust the volume on the speaker. A beep tone will be heard when the maximum or minimum volume is reached. Additionally you can set the volume and equalizer on your device in order to reach the perfect sound. Other Features Reconnection Between Bluetooth® Device and BT 4160 You can reconnect your paired Bluetooth® device to your speaker easily: • Select the BT 4160 entry on the Bluetooth® device to reconnect.

The memory is now cleared and the speaker is in pairing mode, ready to accept connection from other Bluetooth® devices. AUX In for Playback of Other Audio Devices You can connect the audio output of an external device such as an MP3 player to this unit to listen to the sound of that device through the amplifier of this music system.
• There is no Bluetooth® link between BT 4160 and the external device Ensure that your Bluetooth® enabled device supports the A2DP profie. Refer to its user manual on how to turn on the Bluetooth® functions and capabilities. You may also try the following: • Delete the BT 4160 name entry from your Bluetooth® device paired memory list and perform the steps from “Bluetooth® Connection” to re-pair your device with BT 4160.
