1. Press and hold the CONNECT button for 8 seconds while the speaker is on.
2. A long beep tone is heard. The LED status indicator blinks rapidly.
3. The memory is now cleared and the speaker is in pairing mode, ready to accept connection
from other Bluetooth
®
devices.
AUX In for Playback of Other Audio Devices
You can connect the audio output of an external device such as an MP3 player to this unit to listen
to the sound of that device through the amplier of this music system.
3,5 mm audio cable (not included)
To connect the external device please use a standard stereo audio cable (3.5 mm to 3.5 mm
plugs) (not included) to connect the headphone out or audio line out of the external device to
the AUX input socket of BT 4160.
Switch the external device (e.g. MP3 player) on.
Start playback of the external device.
Remember to switch off the unit when you are nished using the external device.
Note:
The AUX In has a xed volume. To adjust the volume when playing via AUX In, use the volume
setting on your external device.
Troubleshooting
If there should be any problem with this product, please try to solve it with the help of the following
information before contacting service. Most problems can be solved easily.
• BT4160 cannot be powered on
Make sure that the built-in battery is charged. Ensure that the Power ON/OFF switch is set to “On”.
When the speaker is powered on, the LED status indicator will light up.
