• The signal strength is shown in the bottom line of the display:
The further to the right the bar is reaching, the better is the signal strength.
The empty bar indicates the minimum signal strength necessary for an optimal reception.
Alarm Function
This unit enables you to set 2 different and independent alarm times. You can even set an alarm
to ring Daily, Weekdays, Weekends, or Once.
1. To set an alarm, press the ALARM button once to set Alarm1, or twice to set Alarm2.
2. OFF will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to select ON and then press
SELECT to conrm.
3. The hour will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to set the hour of the
alarm time and then press SELECT to conrm.
4. The minute will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to set the minute of
the alarm time and then press SELECT to conrm.
5. The Alarm Mode will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to select be-
tween Once, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekends and then press SELECT to conrm.
6. The Alarm Type will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to select between
BEEPER1, BEEPER2, DAB, or FM and then press SELECT to conrm.
7. The Alarm Volume will be ashing. Press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to select the
desired alarm volume and then press SELECT to conrm.
8. The alarm setting is now complete and the unit will return to the last mode.
Deactivating an Alarm
1. To deactivate an alarm, press the ALARM button once or twice to go to the Alarm1 or
Alarm2 setting.
2. While ON is ashing, press the ◄ LEFT or ► RIGHT button to select OFF and then
press SELECT to conrm.
3. The alarm is now deactivated.
Stopping an Alarm
• To stop an active alarm, press the POWER button. The unit will return to standby mode.
Snooze
1. When your alarm is ringing, you can press the SELECT button to temporarily suspend
the alarm. “Z” will be shown in the display. The alarm will ring again 6 minutes later (the
Snooze interval time is 6 minutes).
2. Snooze will be repeated until the POWER button is pressed.
Notes:
• For the alarm to work properly, a time signal must have been received from a DAB sta-
tion.
• The alarm only works with the unit in standby mode. If the unit is switched off completely,
the alarm will not sound.
• If DAB is selected for Alarm Type but no station is being received, the alarm will not
sound.
