If BUZZER was selected, this step is skipped.

8. If DAB or FM was selected for alarm type, you will now be asked to set the Alarm

Volume. Press the ▲Up or ▼Down button to select the desired alarm volume and then

press / Select to conrm.

If BUZZER was selected, this step is skipped.

9. The Alarm Duration will be ashing. Press the ▲Up or ▼Down button to select the

desired alarm duration (minutes) and then press / Select to conrm.

10. The Alarm Mode will be ashing. Press the ▲Up or ▼Down button to select between

DAILY, ONCE, WEEKENDS, or WEEKDAYS and then press / Select to conrm.

11. The alarm setting is now complete and the unit will return to the last mode:

DAB

Deactivating an Alarm

1. To deactivate an alarm, press and hold for 2 seconds the Sleep / Alarm / Snooze button

to enter the alarm menu.

2. Select which alarm to deactivate (Alarm 1 or Alarm 2) using the ▲Up or ▼Down button

and press / Select.

3. Select INACTIVE using the ▲Up or ▼Down button and press / Select to deactivate

the alarm.

4. The alarm is now deactivated.

Stopping an Alarm

• To stop an active alarm, press the / Mode button. The unit will return to standby mode.

Snooze

1. When your alarm is ringing, you can press the Sleep / Alarm / Snooze button to tempo-

rarily suspend the alarm. A snooze icon will be shown in the display. The alarm will ring

again about 9 minutes later.

2. To turn off the alarm, press the / Mode button. The unit will return to standby mode.

Notes:

• For the alarm to work properly, date and time must be set correctly, or a time signal must

be received via DAB or FM RDS.

• If DAB is selected for Alarm Type but no signal is being received, the buzzer will sound.

Headphone Jack

A headphone jack is located at back of the unit. When the unit is powered on and playing music,

you can connect earphones (not included) to the headphone jack for your private listening. Mind

the safety information from page 14 on.

With headphones connected the unit’s speakers are disabled. To listen via the speakers again,

disconnect the headphones.
