4. Signal Strength
The slide bar indicates how strong the received signals are, the stronger the
signal, the longer the bar will be from left to right.

Signal strength
If the signal level drops below the fth bar (minimum signal level) then you may
experience problems with the quality of the audio. In this case try to position the
radio at another location.
Note: This signal intension is only for indicating DAB+ stations strength.
5. Tuning
5.1 Auto Scan Modes
There are two types of auto scan, one is LOC scan and the other is FULL scan.
LOC scan searches the Local DAB+ band III. FULL scan searches all band III
DAB+ channels.
To activate the LOC scan press the Auto Scan key and for FULL scan press and
hold the Auto Scan key.
5.2 Manual Tuning
As well as an auto tune function, you can manually tune the receiver. This can
help you when aligning your aerial or when adding stations that were missed while
auto tuning:
1. Press and hold the Info/Menu key to enter the menu. The display will show
the rst menu option “MANUAL”.
2. Press down on the Tune/Select knob to enter the manual setting option.
3. Turn the Tune/Select knob to select the desired frequency and press down
on this knob to select it.
Note: DAB+ channels are numbered from 5A to 13F.
When the receiver locates an ensemble/multiplex on one of the DAB+ channels, it
will display this on the LCD.
Press down on the Tune/Select knob to enter the current ensemble/multiplex, the
LCD will now display the rst station in the ensemble/multiplex.
