BATTERY INSTALLATION
This AM / FM Shower Clock Radio operates on four size ‘AA’ (UM-3) batteries.
1. Turn the Battery Compartment Cover (12) counterclockwise to open.
2. Following the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment. Insert four size ‘AA’ (UM-3) batter-
ies (not included).
3. Turn the Battery Compartment Cover (12) clockwise to close.
IMPORTANT: Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the
unit.
4. For better performance and longer operating time, we recommend the use of alkaline-type batter-
ies.
5. (a) Do not mix old and new batteries.
(b) Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
6. If the units is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. Old or leaking-
batteries can cause damage to the unit and will void the warranty.
7. Do not dispose of batteries in re, batteries may explode or leak.
TIME SETTING
1. On initial battery installation, the backlight of the LCD Display (2) will light automatically.
2. Under radio off condition, press and keep holding the Hour Button (5) to set the correct hour.
3. Press and keep holding the Minute Button (6) to set the correct minute.
4. If you make a mistake and past beyond the current minute, you can press the Minute Button (6)
briey to return to the “00” minute starting point. If you have already gone to a point between “30”
to “59” minute, pressing the Minute Button (6) will advance the hour digit by 1 instead.
5. Press the Light Button (10) to turn off the backlight for battery power saving.
DAILY ALARM TIME SETTING
1. While pressing the AL-Set Button (3), press the Hour Button (5) and/or Minute Button (6) to set
your desired alarm time.
2. When alarm time is reached, the buzzer will sound for about three minutes unless interrupted by
pressing the AL-On Button (4) briey.
3. Press the AL-On Button (4) for about three seconds to toggle between Alarm ON or OFF mode.
Alarm ON is indicated by the presence of an icon in the LCD Display (2).
Note: If there is no icon, the buzzer will not sound at the present alarm time.
RADIO RECEPTION
1. Turn on the radio by rotating the volume control (11) clockwise until a “click” is heard.
2. Press the band selector (9) to select between “AM” and “FM”.
3. Turn the tuning control (8) to select the desired radio station. The radio frequency will appear in
