4. When tuning in AM reception, be sure to place the unit in a vertical position. To ensure maximum

AM sensitivity, try rotating the unit until the best reception is obtained. For best FM reception,

always extend the external Fm wire antenna (13) to its full length. You may tie its end to the pro-

vided suction cup and attach to a wall tile to keep it clear from towel holder ring movement.

5. Adjust the volume control (11) to obtain the desired sound level.

6. The audio level meter on the right side of the LCD display (2) will move up and down according to

the output loudness.

7. Turn off the radio by rotating the volume control (11) fully counterclockwise until a “click” is heard.

BACKLIGHT OPERATION

1. To allow you to read the time or radio frequency clearly in the dark, the unit is equipped with

backlight illumination for the LCD display (2).

2. Turn on the LCD backlight by pressing the light button (10). Press again to turn it off.

TOWEL HOLDER RING & ROPE FUNCTIONS

1. If you want to place the unit on a table, fold the towel holder ring (14) at the desired angle as

shown in gure C above.

2. In the bathroom you can tie the unit to the shower curtain rod using the plastic rope (7) and hang

your towel onto the towel holder ring (14).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Clean your unit with a damp (never wet) cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.

2. Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.

3. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as uorescent

lamps or motors.

4. Your unit has rubber seals to minimize the risk of moisture getting inside. However, do not im-

merse it in water since permanent damage to the electrical and mechanical parts will result.

5. Always clean the outside of the cabinet thouroughly if it becomes wet with moisture or water

splashes. This will help to prevent the internal parts of the unit from entry of water and possible

moisture damage.
