5. Set the desired volume by pressing the VOL + or VOL - button.
6. To turn the radio off, press the POWER button.
Note:
The AM frequency range in the USA (520 - 1710kHz) is different from the one in Europe (522 -
1620kHz). Users need to set the range correctly depending on their location:
While in standby mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the CHANNEL UP button. The display
will show either 9 kHz or 10 kHz. When in the USA, select 10 kHz by pressing CHANNEL UP.
When in Europe, select 9 kHz by pressing CHANNEL UP.

Flashlight
To turn on the ashlight, press the FLASHLIGHT ON/OFF button on the top of the unit.
Press the button once again to turn the ashlight off.

If the light seems dim, this means that the battery is weak. In this case you need to
recharge it.
If a fully charged battery only provides for a short lighting time, it may be that the battery
is deteriorating. In this case you need to change the battery to a new one.
Mobile Phone Charging
This radio enables you to charge many mobile phones (that can be charged via USB) with the
supplied USB adaptor cable.
