into the SD slot only (i.e. without USB device inserted).
Due to several different formats it is possible that some USB sticks or SD cards cannot be recog-
nized and played by the unit.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of different USB memory devices or SD
memory devices.
The manufacturer is not responsible for loss or damage of data or les.
A USB device must always be connected directly to the USB port of this product. The use of a
USB extension cord is not supported by this product. The USB port of this product cannot com-
municate with a computer directly.
USB/SD Play Modes
Repeat Playback
To repeat playback of one song, press the PMODE button once. A repeat one indicator ap-
pears on the LCD.
To repeat playback song(s) of the entire USB/SD device, press the PMODE button until the
repeat all indicator appears on LCD.
Random Playback
To playback song(s) in random order, press the PMODE button until “RND” indicator appears on
the LCD.
Preset EQ Settings
The unit provides 4 preset EQ settings for your selection.
When the unit is powered on either in CD, USB/SD, Radio or Aux-In mode, you can press the EQ but-
ton repeatedly to select ROCK, CLASSIC, JAZZ or POP and their corresponding indicator displayed.
If preset EQ is selected OFF and no EQ indicator will be displayed.
Listening to an External Audio Source
1. Connect an audio cable (not included) with 3.5mm stereo plug from an auxiliary audio device to
the AUX-IN jack of the unit.
2. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the unit.
3. To select auxiliary audio input, press the FUNC button. The “AUX” indicator shows on display.
4. Turn on the external auxiliary audio device.
5. The volume can now be controlled through the unit.
Operate all other functions on the external device as usual.
Notes:
Press the STANDBY
button to turn off the unit when you nish listening.
Don’t forget to switch off the power of the external audio device as well.
Headphone Use
A Phones jack located at rear of the unit. When the unit is powered on either in CD, USB/SD, Radio or
Aux-In mode, you can connect the earphones (not included) to the Phones jack for your private listen-
ing. Mind the safety information on page 16.
Clock Setting
When the unit is OFF (Standby mode):
Set 12/24 Hour format
1. Press and hold the MODE button entering 12/24 hour format setting mode, the “12H” or “24H”
indicator blinks.
2. Press the / button to select 12 or 24 hour display format.
