2. Press the MUTE button again, the volume level and the audio output will return to normal.
HEADPHONES
Plug your headphones (3.5mm mini-stereo plug) into the headphones jack on the front panel of the
unit. The sound will be heard through the headphones, not the speaker.
TROUBLESHOOTING
To solve the common problems, read and follow the troubleshooting list. If you still cannot solve the
problem, consult your nearest service dealer.

General
No sound
Volume is set too low.
Mains cable not connected.
Adjust the volume.
Connect mains cable correctly.
No key function Electrostatic discharge. Disconnect mains cable for some
seconds
und reconnect.
CD/MP3
No playback
Faulty playback
The CD is inserted upside down.
The CD is dirty or damaged.
The CD is steamy.
The CD is dirty or damaged.
Reinsert CD with label side facing
up.
Replace or clean the CD.
Wipe with a soft cloth.
Replace or clean the CD.
Remote control
No function
The battery is inserted in the wrong
direction.
The battery is exhausted.
The remote control is not directed
towards the device.
There are obstacles between remote
control and the remote control sen-
sor.
The operation range is exceeded.
Check the polarity of the inserted
battery.
Replace the battery.
Direct the remote control directly
towards the remote control sensor
on the front of the device.
Remove the obstacles.
Move closer to the unit.
Headphones
No sound
The headphones jack is not plugged
in correctly.
Volume is set too low.
The CD is damaged.
Plug in the headphones jack cor-
rectly.
Adjust the volume.
Replace the CD.
