Emergency Aid and
First Aid Procedures
EYES: Flush with water for 15 minutes. If eye damage occurs, consult an opthalmologist.
SKIN: Flush with water for 15 minutes, if irritation persists get medical attention.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting, dilute with water or milk. Get medical attention.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconcious person.
SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
Spill Response
Clean-up workers must protective clothing to prevent body contact. Pick up with wet mop,
wet vac or absorbent material. Rinse floor with clear water and allow floor to dry before
allowing traffic.
Waste Disposal
Method
Dilute with water and adjust pH with dilute acid to pH below 9.0, then flush to sanitary
sewer or send material absorbed on absorbent material to a sanitary landfill following Local,
State and Federal regulation.
SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Eye Protection
When eye contact may occur, wear safety glasses or chemical splash goggles.
Skin Protection
Wear neoprene gloves.
Ventilation
Normal room ventilation.
Respiratory
Protection
None required. When excessive mists are generated above TLV’s, wear a full face
respirator.
Other Protection
Rubber apron.
SECTION IX - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Precautions in
Handling and Storage
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store at room temperature. Rinse container
before discarding. Spills are slippery.
Other Precautions
Do nto use undiluted on latex painted surfaces.
