Please observe the following warning notes
when handling batteries:
Danger
Danger of explosion. Do not put tools or
similar on the battery, i.e. on the terminal
poles and cell connectors.
Risk of injury. Ensure that wounds never
come into contact with lead. Always clean
your hands after having worked with batter-
ies.
If you use wet batteries in the Bp model,
then follow the following instructions:
It is necessary to conform to the maxi-
mum battery dimensions.
The battery cover needs to be opened
while charging wet (maintenance-free)
batteries.
While charging wet batteries, follow the
specifications of the battery manufac-
turer.
The settings of the deep discharge pro-
tection must be checked to ensure that
the runtime of the machine is not limited
and that the battery cannot deeply dis-
charge.
Open the lock.
Swivel the top of the appliance forward.
Swivel the battery cover back.
Insert the batteries into the appliance.
Connect poles with the enclosed con-
necting cables.
Caution
Risk of damage. Pay attention to correct
poles.
Connect the connection cable to the
free battery poles (+) and (-).
Caution
The battery can be damaged by deep dis-
charges. Charge the battery before com-
missioning the machine.
Note
The appliance is equipped with a safety
mechanism to prevent total discharge, i.e.
when the permissible minimum capacity is
reached, then the machine can only be
driven.
Drive the machine directly to the charg-
ing station; avoid any steep gradients in
the process.
Remove the power plug of the appli-
ance from the holder and connect it to
the mains supply.
Average charging time is approx. 10
hours.
Remove the power plug from the charg-
er and hook the holder into the appli-
ance.
Open the lock.
Swivel the top of the appliance forward.
Swivel the battery cover back.
Clamp off the minus pole of the battery.
Clamp off the remaining cables from the
battery.
Remove the batteries.
Dispose of the used batteries according
to the local provisions.
