6. To recall a stored frequency, repeatedly press the M-UP or M-DN button until you reach the
desired preset.
Notes:
The preset memories will be erased if the unit is disconnected from the power supply.
A preset frequency can be overwritten by storing another frequency on the preset place.
Radio Data System (RDS)
This system is equipped with an RDS decoder. RDS allows text information to be transmitted by a
radio station together with the music.
To activate the RDS function press the RDS MODE button. The program service station name (PS) is
then displayed.
RDS Modes:
PS: Program Service (station name)
PTY: Program Type Identication
RT: Radio Text (e.g. song name, artist, etc.)
RDS Search
Press the RDS SEARCH button to select a program type you wish to listen to. Then press the TUN-
ING+ or TUNING- button. The system will automatically detect a suitable station which is cur-
rently broadcasting with program type identication (PTY).
Clock Timer (CT)
The CT function provides an accurate clock signal. If the clock of the system is not adjusted manually
after plug in and if an RDS signal is received, the system will automatically update the system clock to
the received RDS clock time.
Note:
Not all radio stations transmit RDS information and this unit will only display RDS information if a
radio station is actively transmitting RDS information in your area.

Notes:
Remove the stylus protector.
Be sure that the tone arm is being detached from the tone arm rest
before operating and re-secured again afterwards.
1. Set the system to phono mode by pressing the PHONO button.
2. Set the speed selector to the proper position depending on the record to
be played.
3. Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor if required).
4. Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly move it to the record side. The plat-
ter will start to rotate.
5. Place the tone arm to the desired position of the record.
6. Adjust the volume to the desired level.
7. At the end of record, the platter will automatically stop rotating. Lift the tone
arm from the record and return it to the rest.
8. To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
Note:
For some records the auto-stop area may be out of the unit setting, i. e. it will stop before the last
track is nished. In this case set the auto-stop switch to “Off“ position. It will now play to the end of the
record but will not stop automatically (turn off the unit or switch back the auto-stop switch to “On“ posi-
