4. Set the desired minutes by pressing the TUNE / buttons.
5. Press the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button again to select the wake up mode.
6. Select between CD, buzzer (“bU”) or radio (“rd”) by pressing the TUNE / buttons.
7. Press the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button again. The alarm is now set and will come on at the
set time.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
To deactivate a set alarm, press the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button while the unit is in standby
mode. The alarm 1 icon (or alarm 2 icon) will disappear from the display. This alarm is now deac-
tivated and will not ring.
To activate an alarm, press the ALARM 1 (or ALARM 2) button while the unit is in standby mode
to enter the alarm setting.
Stopping an Active Alarm
When the alarm is sounding, press the STANDBY button to turn it off. The alarm will come on
again on the next day at the set time.
Snooze Function
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for approximately 9 minutes. To do so, press
the SNOOZE button once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after ap-
proximately 9 minutes. During this time the alarm icon is ashing in the display.
To cancel the snooze function, press the STANDBY button.
Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described previously.
2. Select the radio mode by pressing the SOURCE button in case the unit is not already in radio
mode. The frequency will be shown in the display.
3. Select a desired radio station by pressing the TUNE or button repeatedly (each press of
the button changes the frequency by 0.05 MHz, however, the display only shows one digit behind
the point and the decimal is ashing).
4. To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds the
TUNE or button.
For a better reception completely unroll the FM wire antenna.
Radio Station Presets
This unit enables you to store up to 20 radio stations.
1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.
2. Press the CLOCK/PROG button. The presets will start ashing (e.g. “P 01”).
3. Select a desired preset place from P 01 - P 20 on which you want to store the current frequency
by pressing the ■ SLEEP/MEM button.
4. Press the CLOCK/PROG button again to conrm your setting.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to store up to 20 frequencies.
6. To recall a stored frequency, press the ■ SLEEP/MEM button until you reach the desired preset.
Note:
If the unit gets disconnected from the power supply, all stored channels will be lost and will have
to be reset.
