Power Supply & Preparations
Main Unit
Connect the small end of the supplied power
cable to the AC Power Input socket on the
back of the unit and the other end into a suit-
able wall socket.
Make sure that the output power of the wall
outlet matches the required power of the unit.
Ensure that
power cord and plug
are fully inserted.
Remote Control
First-time use:
The unit has a pre-installed lithium CR2025 battery. Remove the
protective tab to activate the remote control battery.
Replacing the Remote Control Battery:
1. Push the tab on the side of the battery tray towards the tray
(A).
2. Now slide the battery tray out of the remote control (B).
3. Remove the old battery.
4. Place a new CR2025 battery into the battery tray with the
correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
5. Slide the battery tray back into the slot in the remote control.
Notes:
The remote control works within a distance of approximately
6 metres from the sensor and within an angle of about 30°
from the left and right side.
Pay attention to the safety information on page 20.
If the remote control is not used for a longer period of time,
the battery should be removed.

Antenna
The rst time you use FM/DAB, make sure the aerial is
fully extended before selecting FM mode, because your
radio will automatically scan for FM radio stations. If the
aerial is not fully extended your radio will not tune in
properly.
