Î Remove the brushes from the appli-
ance as described in the appliance's
operating instructions.
Î Remove the cleaning head from the ap-
pliance (see operating instructions).
Î Place the cleaning head vertically and
protect from tipping over.
Î Remove coarse dirt from the bottom
side and the splash-guard by hand.
Î Remove encrusted dirt with a plastic
scraper or with a high pressure cleaner.
Caution
Risk of damage. Use a scraper made from
unbreakable and non-abrasive plastic.
Î Spray the residual dirt with a high-dose
alkaline detergent solution (spray bot-
tle, KÄRCHER RM 750, 30 %).
Î Allow detergent solution to soak in for a
at least 15 minutes.
Do not let the detergent dry on, respray
if necessary.
Î Rinse the bottom side with a strong wa-
ter jet.
Î Let the cleaning head dry completely.
Tip
The cleaning effect can be enhanced by
using a hot water high pressure cleaner.
Observe the spray distance to prevent
damage.
Î For the safe elimination of bacteria, we
recommend spraying the bottom side
and the splash-guard with a disinfecent
(e.g. KÄRCHER disinfectant RM 732).
Important
Observe the directions provided by the
manufacturer of the disinfectant.
Î Empty dirt pan after each cleaning.
Î Spray the coarse dirt out of the dirt pan
with water (if necessary, preclean with a
clean cloth).
Î Spray the residual dirt with a high-dose
alkaline detergent solution (spray bot-
tle, KÄRCHER RM 750, 30 %).
Î Let the detergent solution soak for 10 to
15 minutes.
Î Rinse the residual dirt with a strong wa-
ter jet.
Î Let the dirt pan dry.
Î For the safe elimination of bacteria, we
recommend spraying the dirt pan with a
disinfecent (e.g. KÄRCHER disinfect-
ant RM 732).
In order to optimise the reduction of the
bacterial and dirt migration between the
scrubber brush and the floor covering, we
recommend a 2-step method.
Step 1:
Î Scrubbing with simultaneous coating
with suitable detergent. (Observe the
dosing required by manufacturer.)
Î Allow detergent solution to soak in (be-
tween 5 and 15 minutes).
Do NOT let the detergent dry on. Re-
spray with detergent if necessary.
Step 2:
Î Scrubbing with minimum detergent
coating (reduced water volume) with si-
multaneous vacuuming of dirt.
Î Optimum: Rescrubbing/clear rinsing of
the floor surface with fresh water with
simultaneous vacuuming of dirt.
The following table is to be used as a guide-
line for different floor covering contamina-
tion. Adaptation of the values for the
actually present floor covering as well as
the current contamination may become
necessary.
