on running and stops after ± 20 seconds.
However, the HD 600-100 does not have a pressure regulator on the machine, but
on the double spray lance.
If hot or luke-warm water is preferred, put thermostat (No. 3) on the desired
temperature. Then the burner starts operating and does so till the wanted
temperature is reached. If the temperature drops, the burner starts again.
To use soap during washing, with both hot or cold water, open dosaging cock (No.
8). Soap is now sucked in by the pump. After a short period of time, the water and
soap mix will spray out of the spouting gun.
After the dosaging cock is closed, it takes a while before all detergent has left the
machine. Wait until clean water comes out before you stop the machine.
HD 600-100: to use soap open the cock on the spouting gun; the injector on the
machine sucks in soap at low pressure through the soaphose. After the dosaging
cock on the spouting gun has been closed, the sucking in of soap will stop.
5.1 AFTER WORKING
Before the machine is stopped, remember to:
- close detergent dosaging cock and wait until clean water comes out.
- let cold water run through the machine a while.
- when danger of freezing, let antifreeze into the machine.
Now the high pressure cleaner can be stopped.
Remember to close watersupply before you take off the watersupply hose. Before
you can take off the high pressure hose, first you have to release pressure from
the hose by pulling the trigger of the spouting gun. Pressure now escapes and
couplings can be loosened very easily. Do not place spouting gun with its top on
the floor. The nozzle can get damaged or dirt can get in.
5.2 CLEANING
The strong waterbeam of the Karömat can clean many objects. The high pressure
cleaner is suitable for cleaning for instance machines, floors, grids, frontages,
ships, lorries, etcetera. Some surfaces however need special treatment. Therefore
the following tip offs:
 Special dirt needs special detergents: Greasy surfaces are best cleaned by hot
water and degreasing detergents. For normal dirt best use a regular cleansing
agent, for severe dirt better use an alkaline degreaser. Read the instructions of
the manufacturer thoroughly! To remove road-dust from cars, use a special car
shampoo. Remember that some detergents are rather agressive. Therefore
read the instructions on the label of the detergent. Protect yourself with suitable
clothing and masks.
