CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your Karran quartz sink is produced from the highest quality natural quartz crystals and acrylic resins. With the right care it will last a lifeme.
Cleaning and caring for your quartz sink is easy. Simply follow the reference guide given below.
Normal impuries (residue from washing up)
Clean your sink with water, liquid dishwashing soap and a sponge or cloth, then dry. This should be done aer every use.
Metal abrasions (pots, pans and cutlery)
Use a rub-out sponge (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponge). Follow up by cleaning your sink with water, liquid dishwashing soap and a sponge or
cloth, then dry. Do this whenever necessary.
Lime stains and rust
Use vinegar or a commercial lime and rust remover. With vinegar, dilute 50% with water and let it soak into the aected areas for 20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly then dry. With a commercial lime and rust remover, follow direcons for use on packaging, then rinse sink thoroughly and
dry. Do this whenever necessary.
Stubborn stains
Mix 1 part household bleach with 15 parts water and let soak in sink for 1 hour. Drain, rinse thoroughly and dry. Do this whenever necessary.
These simple maintenance ps will keep your sink looking its best for years. To prevent permanent damage to your sink:
 Do not place hot pots or other hot items directly onto the sinks surface. Let them cool completely before placing them on the sinks
surface.
 Do not use the sink as a cung board. While quartz is incredibly durable, sharp knives may cut into the surface.
 Do not clean the sink with abrasive cleaning pads and powder detergents. This may dull and damage the sinks surface. If needed a
nylon brush can be used.
 Strong alkalis (ammonia and causc soda soluons) must be avoided.
