Thank you for your recent purchases of a KAS rug. This rug is under warranty for
manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase under normal usage.
Commercial wear and damage caused by negligent use or care is not covered. Please
contact the retailer from where the purchase was made if you have any questions or
concerns.
Kas rugs are manufactured to last many years depending on the usage and care. Some are
more suitable for high traffic areas while others will not wear well in environments with
high traffic or pets. Please consult your retailer for more information on the right rug for
the many areas of your home.
Guidelines to help preserve the life of your area rug:
Rug Pad
Lay down with rug pad underneath when placing on any floor surface. This will extend the
life of the rug, protect your flooring, and reduce slip. The manufacturer is not responsible
for damage to base flooring.
Maintenance
Vacuum as needed. Do not use a beater bar on vacuum or use floor attachment.
Vacuum in direction of rug pile not against it.
Rotate annually for even wear. Protect from direct sunlight.
Cleaning
Professionally clean when needed. Do not use water saturation methods. Blot spills
immediately. Spot clean stains with mild dry detergent. Do not use spot cleaners. Blot
excess water from cleaning and dry thoroughly. Otherwise, any moisture will attract dirt.
