WARNING: The unit is intended to be installed directly beneath a ceiling-mounted
junction box.

NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B

4 Securing the Fixture Mounting Bracket

Align the xture mounting bracket (F) center mounting slots with the junction box
mounting holes. Use the 8-32x25 mm machine screws (B) to secure the xture
mounting bracket (F) to the junction box. Use the ush mounting screws (D) to secure
the xture mounting bracket (F) to the outer mounting holes.
5 Connecting the Cables

While holding the xture housing (A) rmly, connect the xture housing cable to the
driver cable. Ensure the quick-connect makes a secure connection. Do not allow the
xture housing to hang by the wiring unsupported.
6 Attach the Fixture Housing

1. While holding the xture endcaps (H), align the xture housing (A) with the
mounting bracket (F). Push the xture housing onto the mounting bracket until
the xture housing snaps into place. Gently pull on the xture housing to ensure
proper installation.
2. Turn on the power at the circuit breaker box and verify that the xture functions
properly.

Before You Begin
Remove the xture from the carton and check for any shipping damage.

Installing to a wooden joist (preferred):
Drill 5/64 in. pilot holes in the ceiling/joists 38-2/5 in. apart.
Installing to drywall with no wooden joist:
Drill 3/16 in. pilot holes in the ceiling 38-2/5 in. apart. Insert drywall anchors (C) into
pilot holes.
2 Remove the Mounting Bracket

Press the lock/release buttons (G) on both sides of the xture housing (A) to remove
the xture mounting bracket (F).
3 Connect the Electrical Wires

Ground
While supporting the xture mounting bracket (F), hold it close to the ceiling and make
the following wire connections:
1. Connect the black xture wire to the black supply wire using a wire nut (E).
2. Connect the white xture wire to the white supply wire using a wire nut (E).
3. Connect the xture ground wire to the supply ground wire using a wire nut (E).
4. Carefully push all wires and wire nuts inside the junction box.
