14.3.3 Connecting the Reader to the Power Supply
Using the basic and advanced connection boxes, it is possible to connect all the readers to the DC supply. This con-
nection type is recommended in particular when using the readers outdoors or if there is a dened switch-o point. The
following description is applied both for the basic and the advanced connection box. If it is only necessary to have the
DC supply, it is possible to use the basic connection box. In case both the DC supply and the control panel for all the
connected devices is necessary, the advanced connection box is required.
