Conﬁ guration

1. Reading the system

A connection to a UFOnano can be established by the menu item (System | Read out system|) or by clicking on the

respective symbol in the symbol bar. The following dialogue that offers the following options to establish a connection

then appears:

Select Channel Unit / UFOnano for the connection with a UFOnano head-unit. The conﬁ guration window appears after a

successful connection.

2. Basic settings

All the conﬁ gurable parameters of a module, such as the input and output frequencies, can be set using the Basic Set-

tings window.

Non-conﬁ gurable parameters (such as SNR, BER, code rate), which represent continually varying status information

regarding the head-end, are read at intervals of about 3 seconds and updated in the dialogue window.
