The modulation signal (modus) for the QAM modulator is selected in the QAM stage sub-menu.
The output signal QAM stage is selected using the “<” and “>” buttons.
Pressing the “Sub-menu” button displays the sub-menu and pressing the sub-menu button again exits it.
The QAM mode is selected using the “<” and “>” buttons and set using the “+” and “-” buttons.

1.10 Selecting the modulation signal for the QAM modulator
The following settings are available:
Mode SAT Sig
Normal mode, the satellite input signal is transmodulated. If there is a fault on the input
signal, only fi ll bytes (0xFF) will be modulated
PRBS
Test mode. The QAM signal is modulated with the PRBS-23 sequence.
Normal mode is unavailable in this setting
CW
Test mode. Sine-wave signal for levelling using simple signal meters.
Normal mode is unavailable in this setting
