Main menu - Interfaces
Common Interface (CI)
After calling up the menu you will see the
following on-screen display (example):
Use the

buttons to select the desired CI slot and confi rm using the

button. The receiver
opens the menu generated by the module.
The screenshots below depend on the specifi c module and card and are therefore only
intended as examples.
For details on the insertion of the
CA module and the Smartcard in
the receiver’s CI slot, see Operating
manual – Part 1, “Connection and
set-up”, “Common interface (CI)”
section.
From this menu, your card and your PIN code allow you to access various channels from your Pay TV
provider.
“CryptoWorks” has been selected as an example here. The details may be different for each CA module.
Always follow the instructions supplied by your Pay TV provider!
The module on-screen displays may
be shown in German, even if you
have selected English as the menu
language, because the menu is
generated directly by the module!
