Ethernet Settings
After calling up the menu you will see the
following on-screen display (example):
Main menu - Interfaces
Refer to the confi guration of the Ethernet Settings
in the Operating manual – Part 1 “Connection and
set-up”, “Network/Internet access” and the separate
manual entitled “Kathrein portal (Media centre)” (see
screenshot on the right) on this subject available
on the Internet at “www.kathrein.de” → “Service” →
“Software and Downloads” → “Receiver” → “UFS 925”.

An Internet connection is required to use HbbTV and HD+ InterAktiv!
These settings should not be defi ned unless the receiver is linked into a network (e.g. for
Internet access) or is linked to a PC/laptop using a cross-over network cable.
Refer to our network function connection examples at the end of the Operating manual
– Part 1 “Connection and set-up” and the instructions on this subject available on the Internet at
“www.kathrein.de” → “Service” → “Software and Downloads” → “Receiver” → “UFS 925”.
To connect the receiver to the network via the PC/laptop, you must have unrestricted rights
(administrator rights) for your PC/laptop and on your network.
If you have problems connecting the receiver to your network directly or via your PC/laptop,
refer to your PC or network specialist.
The Ethernet interface used in the
receiver is a 10/100 base T Ethernet
interface.
