The KAT Shoes 2 have two anti-friction stripes on the shoe
sole and offer four adjustable levels of friction (as pictured).
Their purpose is to let the user adjust the kinetic friction force
between the shoe sole and the platform to own preferences.
When using the device for the first time, it is recommended to
keep the friction force on the Novice level, and gradually
adjust it as the user proficiency in using the device grows.

Anti-Slip Strap Introduction:
The anti-slip strap is located at the back side of the shoe. When pulled onto the shoe hill, it
increases your stability and ensures you can get on and off the platform safely.
Once you’re on the platform with the waist harness securely
fastened, you can pull up the anti-slip strap as shown in the
picture below. You can now walk on the platform!
Before getting on and off the platform, pull the anti-slip strap
onto the shoe hill to cover the low-friction block as shown in
the picture below.
