Spatial Headphone Sound
Spatial Headphone Sound is a special feature of the CA49 digital piano that enhances the depth and realism of the
acoustic piano sound when listening through headphones or earphones.
The Spatial Headphone Sound setting allows the player to select from one of three dierent acoustic presets that
adjust the spatial positioning of the sound, while also helping to reduce auditory fatigue when using earphones or
headphones for extended periods of time.
Spatial Headphone Sound type
Spatial Headphone Sound type Description
O Disable the Spatial Headphone Sound feature.
Forward Front focused, somewhat narrow spatial positioning.
Normal
(default) Naturally balanced spatial positioning that is neither forward nor wide.
Wide Wide, very open spatial positioning.
1. Changing the Spatial Headphone Sound setting
After entering the Spatial Headphone Sound setting:
Press the [UP] or [DOWN] buttons to select the desired Spatial
Headphone Sound type.
* The preferred Spatial Headphone Sound type setting can be stored
to the Startup Setting memory for automatic selection when the
instrument is turned on. Please refer to page 45 for more information.
* To reset this setting to the default value, press the [UP] and [DOWN]
buttons simultaneously.
2 Exiting the Spatial Headphone Sound setting
Press the [2] function button (BACK) to exit the Spatial
Headphone Sound setting and return to the Settings menu.
