Part Names and Functions
Operation Guide
The separate Operation Guide provides a convenient overview of the KDP120/KDP75 digital piano’s various button and keyboard
controls. This sheet is also reprinted in the Appendix section of this owner’s manual.
a POWER switch
This switch is used to turn the KDP120/KDP75 digital piano on/
o. Be sure to turn o the instrument after playing.
b MASTER VOLUME slider
This slider controls the master volume level of the KDP120/
KDP75 digital piano’s built-in speakers or headphones, if
connected.
c DEMO button
This button is used to start/stop playback of the KDP120/
KDP75 digital piano’s built-in Demo songs.
d LESSON button
This button is used to select the KDP120/KDP75 digital piano’s
built-in Lesson songs.
e PLAY / STOP button
This button is used to start/stop the playback of Recorder
songs stored in memory and KDP120/KDP75 digital piano’s
built-in Lessons songs.
f REC button
This button is used to record performances to the KDP120/
KDP75 digital piano’s internal memory.
g METRONOME button
This button is used to turn the metronome function on/o, and
also to adjust its tempo, time signature, and volume settings.
h SOUND SELECT button
This button is used to select the sound(s) that will be heard
when the keys are pressed.
i PEDAL connector
This connector is used to connect the KDP120/KDP75 digital
piano’s pedal board to the instrument.
j DC IN jack
This jack is used to connect the AC adaptor.
k USB to Host port
This port is use to connect the instrument to a computer using
a USB “B to A” type cable in order to send and receive MIDI
data.
l PHONES jacks
These jacks are used to connect stereo headphones to the
KDP120/KDP75 digital piano. Two pairs of headphones can be
connected and used simultaneously.
