In August 1996 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United
States with its action in Report and Order FCC 96-326 adopted an updated safety
standards for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy emitted
by FCC regulated transmitters. Those guidelines are consistent with the safety
standards previously set by both U.S and international standards parties. The
design of this phone complies with the FCC guidelines ad these international
standards.
BODY-WORN OPERATION
The SAR Body-worn testing was performed with a 15mm air gap. The users must
be informed that they must maintain 15mm separation to the body when using
body-worn accessories and the accessories must not contain metallic
components.
