Thenominalcurrentoftheselectedcircuitlinebreakermayneverexceedthespecificationsonthe
typeplate.Ifthecurrentspecificationandnominalcurrentofthecircuitlinebreakerareequal,the
temperatureintheswitchcabinetmustbespecificallyobserved(thermalderatingofthecircuitline
breaker).
Mainssupplyrequirements
● InTTandTNnetworks,thegroundingresistanceofthesystemmustbelessthan150Ohm.
● InITorTTnetworkswithagroundingresistancegreaterthan150Ohm,anisolatingtransformermust
beinstalledbeforetheEVSE(ElectricVehicleSupplyEquipment)installation.Theisolatingtransformer
mustthenbeintegratedintoaTNgroundingsystem,applicablefortheabovestatedcriteria.
● PowersupplieswithITgroundingsystemsareforbidden.
● InTTandTNnetworks,thevoltageattheNlinetoPEmaynotbehigherthan10V.
● Anexcessivefractionofharmonicwavescancauseterminationofthechargingprocedure.Thepublic
mainspowersupplyshouldfulfillthestandardsIEC6100021,IEC6100022,EN50160§4.2.4and§
4.2.5topreventthisproblem.Themaximumpermittedlimitofharmonicwavescanvaryindependence
onthemainsnetworkimpedance.
