What You Can Expect From the Hot Cut
Accuracy
Human errors and makeshi straight edges are now a thing of the past. e Heat Knife cuts approximately 1/4”
from the edge of the Sabre cutter bar, ensuring straight line cuts in the same location every time.
Speed
Your shop can accommodate today’s high-demand fabric graphics – and more of them! Using the heated blades
of the HSGM knifes, your operators can quickly cut and seal the edges of synthetic fabrics. Eliminate the time
associated with cumbersome hand-cutting and nal trimming of frayed or unraveled edges.
Safety
e Heat Knife Carrier is safe to use. e heating mechanism is activated only when the spring-loaded trigger
is depressed by a center post. As soon as it is released, the heating element automatically turns o. A le
production stop also reduces contact between the warm Heat Knife and nearby materials.
*AZTC Heat Knife
& tempered glass
sold separately. It is
recommended to use 1/4”
tempered glass for a long
term heat resistant surface.
Heat Knives operate most
eciently on tempered
glass surfaces, which do
not absorb heat (unlike
wood and metal surfaces),
ensuring maximum blade
heat for the most accurate
cuts.
